How to Choose the Correct Rain Drip Cap Length
To provide maximum protection, a rain drip cap should always be wider than the door opening itself. The industry standard is to order a cap that is 4 inches longer than the door width (allowing for a 2-inch overhang on each side).
- For a 36" (3/0) Single Door: Use our 40" Rain Drip Cap.
- For a 48" (4/0) Single Door: Use our 52" Rain Drip Cap.
- For a 72" (6/0) Double Door: Use our 76" Rain Drip Cap.
